Douglas, Larch, Oak or Thermowood: each wood has its own character. This is how you choose the right type.
Douglas: the versatile favourite
European Douglas has a warm pinkish-brown colour, is strong and naturally durable. It is the most chosen wood type for canopies and lodges: excellent value for money and beautiful natural greying.
Larch: extra durable
Larch has a fine grain structure and is naturally very durable and hard. It is slightly lighter in colour than Douglas and highly suitable for structures intensively exposed to the elements.
Oak: timeless premium choice
Oak is the classic among wood types: heavy, extremely durable and with a look that lasts generations. The premium choice for those who want the very best.
Thermowood: stable and low-maintenance
Thermowood is thermally treated timber: heating makes it extra stable, dimensionally consistent and low-maintenance. Ideal when you want minimal maintenance and a sleek, even look.
